Produced for 1 Citizen: Posts, status, tweets and etc....

Disclaimer: Of course this blog post has everything to do with the living and the dead. Its my 1Citizen Portfolio

Okay, facebook status, blogpost, tweets and etc.

Have you encountered one of your facebook or twitter friends posting somethng like,

"The whole famly have went to antartica to see polar bears and they left me home all alone"

First thing that comes in mind, what a show off! But think further and deeper, look on to your bright views of things, what are the implications of the statement?

Imagine the following scenario:

The person has more than a thousand friends and followers on facebook and twitter.
Accepts friend invites from anonymous people
Has followers and friends from a wide variety of people, negative, positive, etc.
So what is wrong with the post?

From a robber's point of view, it says,
" COME INTO MY HOUSE, TIE ME UP AND STEAL EVERYTHING"

So be careful when you post something, you just never know who's reading... it might be very very very baaad people....

My first ever jazz thingy..

Haha, I am aware that most of you are asking questions on, what is a Jazz Thingy? We will get on to that later. And today, is Saturday, 28th of September 2012.

A few days ago on Wednesday night, I hung out with Samurians from Batch 21, Ali, Nada,Hisyam,Zoewen and some friends of theirs Syira,Ezzan and Ezzan's brother which i have forgot his name.We went The Bee, Publika Sri Hartamas. The Bee is actually a name of a Restaurant Bar thingy with live music. It  was my first time experience going to such place. I've never been to a concert besides a Nasyid concert actually. My last concert was In-Team and Firdaus at SAMURA around 4 years ago i think? haha So the live band was sort of a Jazz concert thingy? sort of la. It was Nada's idea btw, which came from facebook comment conversation. Awesome right?  Anyway, the place was awesome! The performance was from Poova, a famous malaysian Jazz singer which I've just known haha I really liked the ambience, how they laid the ceilings and did the wall and stuff, kinda felt like a cozy place to sleep in... haha Anyway, how they come up with the menu design was awesome, have a look!

When I met Nada, she was the first Vegetarian Muslim that i've met, yes "MUSLIM VEGETARIAN" haha, Quite a rare species eh? I got influenced by her Vegetarian ideology, so i ordered the Caesar Salad with Parmesian Cheese. It was quite expensive though for a bowl of salad, RM19 i think, but it was worth it. The saltiness of the cheese kinda mixed quite well. For drinks, i ordered marakesh mint tea ke apa entah haha tasted good too.
I am starting a trend on instagram, the trend of "BUDAYA PINGGAN KOSONG INSTAGRAM" haha, there's an example

Later on, for desert, i ordered "Nutella Churros". Sounds fancy eh? but the real deal is, its the local crispier version of "Cakoi", with some sugar and cinnamon sprinkled all over it and melted nutella as the sauce. Though, this alternative of cakoi made cakoi somekind of jamie oliver desert thingy. I think i am going to buy some cakoi later today and dip em in nutella instead of kaya haha! I didnt get a picture of it though. Nada and Syira ordered some very very weird ice cream, Salted Gula Melaka and Pandan Kaya. Salted Gula Melaka tasted like toffee and Kaya Pandan, well it tasted like Kaya Pandan itself haha you should give it a try one day.

A really awesome custom made phone sticker!

From left: Zoewen, Me, Ezzan's bro, Ezzan, Syira and Nada

Poova

Overall, it was an awesome night and thank you so much guys for inviting me to hang out.

and now, last night i went out with Tuna to watch a movie. The movie we watched was "Loopers". What i have to say about this movie hmmmm Time travel movies hurts my mind haha Though Joseph Gordon Levitt becoming a young Bruce Willis hmmmm i really dont know haha it kinda didnt synced for a while though. The movie was interesting i give it a 3.7 out of 5? i think la. I highly recommend you read the synopsis before you go watch the movie, otherwise, you will either end up in a debate with your friends or a major headache haha now go watch it!

I am a temporary Vegetarian for lunch today haha

September 2012 Samura Visit

CLICK ON THE PHOTOS FOR A BIGGER VIEW!

Yesterday was my 4th visit to Samura this year and its the third English Improvement Training Program held by the Alumni which i've joined.

The program is the last Alumni program of the year. This last program was a casual program, unlike the program before which we held a few months ago giving the form 5 students on inteverviews. This time we had casual talk sessions and a BBQ, wholly sponsored by the Alumni, oh yeah, there were ice cream too.The program is 100% voluntary based, optional for the kids to join, they had no idea there were barbeque and ice cream, untung kan?. The Alumni members that came (as usual) Hisyam, Me, Izyan, Rob Thomas!, Kayla and two new faces, Nada and Zoey. Only Izyan and Me were from the batch 25, the rest were from batch 21.

I started my journey from Shah Alam around noon, went to Subang Permai to pick up Izyan from her house, then continued to Muar. We arrived Muar around 3 ,went to our school freshen up at the school. I managed to meet my "anak buah" ceh haha, "adik buah" la at 4 Tegas, as they were studying for their finals. (rajin betul budak2 sekarang ni)

Ahh yes, the famous Ledang Landmark

Form 5 kids skipping a program at the hall and here they are....

After that, we headed to Wetex Parade, yes the famous "MID VALLEY OF MUAR" haha. MY GOSH! The place had went through a transformation, THERE WAS A BASKIN ROBBINS AND A SUSHI KING!!!! SERIOUS SHIT WEH! haha Yan and me couldnt control ourselves from the excitement and decided to pleasure ourselves for a treat at the Sushi King outlet.

Datin Yan

After our short visit to wetex, we dropped by the Murtabak Singapore Restaurant near school to meet up with the other alumni members.
Batch 21 Alumni Members
Kayla, Nada, Zoey, Hisyam

At school, we hung out by the batch monuments, the dudes from Batch 21 werent so happy that their's got demolished haha Oh well, mine is still there :D There were few more monuments since i left school a few years ago, it is kinda looking like some kind of disaster memorial center or somesort, with names engraved on the stone! okayh, the names were on acrylic, cheap and fast to produce.

While we were waiting for the program to start, entertainment! haha Oh, now the jocks are no longer the rugby dudes, move away, its ZAPIN NOW BITCHES!

And the school are getting better and better with zapin, continuing the traditional malay culture i guess? i hope they would do a hybrid dance, mixing zapin with shuffle or break dance, it would be epic!

Then program started, we had a casual chat session, IN ENGLISH with the students, it was their time to let the world know what is going on in their minds.... something like that haha there werent much photos because we were busy eating Barbecue and Ice Cream haha Anyway, the form 5 students had a good time and they had a chance to speak out, since they have like around 2 months of school left. Many untold stories were told.... high school drama, as usual.

This is Omar, the younger brother to my classmate Maryam Kirana when i was in form 4 and form 5

Kayla, Yan and Rob

Panorama Shot with the IOS 6

This is... i forgot her name haha, but she is the younger sister of a senior of mine back when i was form 4, the famous BOTAK. i was fuckin scared of him back then haha his sister was nice though :D

Faci's with Miss Ida

After the program, we went out for a late night supper at D'Teratak. Hung out with the Greater Alumnis, cheh haha since me and yan were the only young ones. Had quite of a conversation about hospitals. It was a great night, Yan and the girls slept at a nearby hotel. The guys headed back to Aspura and slept at the Sick Bay. The next morning, we had quite of an awakening, there was room service! well, sort of haha The form 4 were appointed to clean up their "Asrama" including the sick bay, the kids came in and was like, bang, boleh kami kemas? and i was like, hey hisyam, we fuckin have room service! haha

I manage to get this snapshot of them cleaning the room. i just lay down the bed, likeabawse!

Then we hung out by the pond watched the kids cleaning the pond

RAWR! the turtle goes. Heard stories that this turtle was stolen from somewhere and brought to Aspura by batch 26

Clean it pansies, Clean!
Back when i was in Form 4, i actually slipped and fell into this pond once, i was chasing the Fish in the middle of the night, luckily no one saw my fall...

Then we heard some noise of kids screaming, here is what we discovered,

The kid behind is wearing a V-NECK! (if u know what i mean haha) scroll down meme style

Rob and me told these kids to do it to Hisyam, but hmmm tak jd..

Kayla posing with his Hot Pants haha

We head out for breakfast around 1030, as usual, satay muar is a must. Hisyam got disturbed by a woman hobo haha! sumpah scary and lawak at the same time hahaha  kesian hisyam, mangsa keadaan.... Breakfast was a treat by Rob, thank you Rob.

Overall, i had a lot of fun, it was fun meeting these guys and seeing these kids so keen to volunteer for the program. I hope i get join the next program due early next year :D

The Dictator

Dictatorship- something that i am really interested in knowing for a few years already. Somehow i find it fascinating, how does a single man, would have a whole nation devote their lives towards a man? yes, i know i know, there are many fallen dictators recently, gadafi, hosni and saddam, not to forget Kim Jong Il, who passed away recently, though the nation of north korea is now lead by his son, also a dictator.

Okayh, lets move on, i was watching the movie, "The Dictator", the main character General Aladeen, was acted by Sacha Baron Cohen, the same guy who acted Bruno and Borat. Before watching the movie, my thoughts was the movie was intended to mock and discriminate dictatorship, because many dictators fell in recent years. But after watching the movie, it was the other way round. It was mocking jews and americans. I could not find any part of the movie where it discriminate any non-americans, non-jews or muslims accept Osama Bin Laden, though the jokes  werent so harsh and acceptable. He said that, the americans shot Osama's double and the real Osama was living in his guest house ever since.

There was a part of the movie dialogue that really caught my mind,

This constitution is nothing but a license for oil companies and foreign interest to destroy my beloved Wadiya , Wadiya will remain a Dictatorship.

*crowd goes booo*

"Oh,be quiet. Why are you guys so anti-Dictatorship? Imagine if america was a dictatorship, you could let 1% of the people, have all the nations wealth,  you could help your rich friends get richer by cutting their taxes, bailing them out when they gamble and lose, you could ignore the needs of the poor for healthcare and education, your media would be free but secretly controlled by one person in his family, you could wire their phones, you could torture foreign prisoners, you could rig elections, you could lie about going to war, you could fill your prisons with one particular racial group and no one would complain, you could use the media to scare the people into supporting policies which are against their interest"

Every single damn thing he said, had already been done and being practised right now in america through DEMOCRACY, democracy lah sangat, democracy my ass haha I believe that it is not just practised in america, but also other parts of the world which are subliminally controlled by americans.

Think about it, we all know and aware that democracy's biggest weakness is that somehow wrong things could be deemed right due to the majority seeing it that way. But what if, dictatorship got right? what if, dictatorship were used to bring goodness to a nation and eliminating the bad, such as crime?

Imagine....

Oh btw, selamat hari raya!

1st Jamuan Berbuka Puasa

Yes, i dont like to use the word "Iftar" haha

Anyway, even though its almost the end of ramadhan, i finally had a Jamuan Berbuka Puasa Event. The event was organised by my younger brothers in Samura, of Batch 26. I'm Batch 25 by the way.

I was really glad to be invited as an honoured guest haha rasa macam vvip pula :P

The event was held at 6 corners Seafood,Kg Senibong Seafood, in Permas Jaya, Johor Bahru. The food was awesome! There were many dishes! ikan tiga rasa, crab, prawn, tom yam, fried chicken, clams and kailan. Imagine all that food... Yummy! It costed us RM25 per person.

After Maghrib and Isyak at the local mosque, we went to have a mamak session at Setia Tropika. They planned to continue shopping at Pandan, but i was too tired, so i decided to go hone.

Anyway, thanks guys! It was fun hanging out with u guys!

A few days till raya

Ahah, I have new followers, welcome, I hope you enjoy my random ramblings.

Around less than 4 weeks till the new semester, honestly I dont know whats coming ahead, I just dont feel ready, dont feel anything, its not academics that is buggin my mind, its just me. I am losing my edge. Badly. I dont speak as clearly as i used to, I dont think as clearly as i used to, i just dont know whats going on with me. Should i blame too much video games?

Video Games. I am currently addicted to Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3. I started playing online around 6 months ago, i got hitched instantly. Before that, the online game i played was Assassins Creed Brotherhood, that was fun too! Okayh, the reason i play video games is too stimulate my brain. Research shows that video games helps in hand-eye coordination, Critical thinking and stimulating the left and right brain. A few years ago, back in PASUM, there was a lecturer named Mr Faris, he told us that he was also stimulating both sides of his brain by writing with his left hand (he was right-handed of course). But the interesting thing is, he experienced side effects with it, he experienced stuttering, or in Malay, GAGAP. Interesting eh? i kinda think  Call of Duty is also giving me side effects.

Anyway, speaking of the new semester, I feel very sorry towards the Diploma dudes who didnt received a placement to pursue towards the degree level. I hope all your appeal will turn up positive and may you all have a bright future ahead.

And here's a photo of me at a friend's house, cantik kan rumah dia? hehe This photo was taken during the February 2011

Inspirasi 2012

During the middle of July, I went to join an Alumni program, held by my old school Sekolah Menengah Sains Muar. The program was called "Inspirasi" or inspiration in english (duh). It lasted for 3 days and 2 nights.

The program was actually a yearly occasion. I went through a similar program back when i was in form 4, 2007. The motive of the program this time were mostly focused on the form 4 dudes to create a family bond between them, help them strive and go through dumb dramas that occurs once a while at those ages. (we all had dramas at those ages).

I myself were assigned to a group, oh yeah, this time, they were allowed to choose their own groups and group members, but in the end, they ended up selecting their own classmates. Luckily, i was assigned to a group with a majority of Technical Science students or as they like to call themselves, Techno Students. These bunch of kids, are out of the average nerds, they were crazy, cool, yes, fun entertaining high spirited and crazy.

Thank Goodness! haha I heard other groups were much much boring. My group did consisted of a few pure science students. But they were as awesome as the Techno students. I dont know how to explain further on about the program. What i can conclude is, the program really taught me the true meaning of happiness, which i dont know how to explain either haha well, here are some photos and oh,also the video recap of the program. The kids had a free session in the afternoon, all they wanted to do was to play in the mud (my idea of course) haha

The other faci in my group was Hazirah Hamzah, from SPM2006

One big happy family

The kids are trying to spell "LOVE" if i'm not mistaken, not sure whether it worked out or not haha

Here's the video!
